why work with me

My name is Lucy, the owner of Toast & Type. I spent nearly eight years spent understanding people under pressure in the public sector, paired with a genuine love of clean, considered design. You get a designer who listens carefully, communicates clearly, and delivers work built around what your business actually needs - not just what looks good on a mood board.

When I'm Not Designing

I'm passionate about food and am a keen home baker and 'chef'. you're most likely to find me at a cheese counter of a local deli (particularly if they sell montagnolo affine!)
